Bollywood music composer Pritam Chakraborty became a victim of robbery after his staff reportedly stole Rs 40 lakh from his Mumbai office. According to the police, the incident came to light when the money was missing from the office that was kept by Pritam’s manager.

According to a complaint lodged at Malad Police Station by Pritam’s manager, Vineet Chheda, the money was brought to the office a few days ago for work-related purposes. Chheda kept the money in the office, where an employee named Ashish Sayal was present. He later left for Pritam’s residence to get some documents signed.

The bag containing the money was missing after Chheda came back. Other office staff informed him that Sayal had taken the bag, claiming he was going to deliver it to Pritam’s house. Sayal’s phone was switched off when people tried to contact him. He was also found missing from his house.

Following this incident, Chheda approached Malad Police Station and lodged a complaint. The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter. Further details are awaited.
