The  telugu Movie Artists’ Association( MAA) elections will be conducted in the month of September. Actors Prakash Raj and Vishnu Manchu is running for the post of President. At a time when Prakash is all set to run for the President of the Movie Artists Association, he met Chiranjeevi today at gym in Hyderabad

In his post, the Vakeel Saab actor thanked the Megastar for working towards finding solutions to the issues faced by the film industry.

Prakash Raj posted a picture of him with Chiranjeevi and wrote, ” Early morning meeting with the BOSS in the gym. Thanked him for taking the initiative to find solutions for the film fraternity .. an ever-inspiring ANNAYA.. we are blessed to have him 

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan-starrer Vakeel Saab was released on April 9. Actor Chiranjeevi, who watched the movie along with his family on the release day itself, has heaped praise on the film’s team, calling the Pink remake a “hugely relevant film on respecting women.”

Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter handle to praise the terrific performance of Prakash Raj as Nanda in Vakeel Saab. He termed Prakash’s acting “absolutely amazing”.

Sharing a photo with Prakash Raj, he wrote, “When you have an actor of @prakashraaj’s calibre, it makes his fellow artists also up their game. His performance in #VakeelSaab was absolutely amazing and he played a great counterpart to @PawanKalyan. Special Congrats to you and Keep rocking Prakash!.”

Last week, Prakash Raj was in the news after he suffered a small fall on the sets of a Dhanush movie in Chennai. He air-dashed to Hyderabad and underwent surgery on the same day. Going by his gym pic, the senior actor is doing fine now. 

On the work front, Prakash Raj was last seen playing the lead role in director Bejoy Nambiar’s Edhiri, one of the nine short films in Navarasa. The actor has a slew of films in the pipeline at different stages of production. Major, KGF: Chapter 2, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe, Vishal-starrer Enemy, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Mani Ratnam’s epic multistarrer Ponniyin Selvan are the projects in Prakash Raj’s lineup.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi recently wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film, Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva. Acharya also features Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde. The movie is based on the lives of two legendary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
