‘PM of Khalistan’ row: Arvind Kejriwal is playing ‘victim card’, says Kumar Vishwas; Rahul Gandhi seeks ‘direct answer’

Former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas  accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of playing the “victim card” and said that he must stop tarnishing Bhagat Singh’s name.

Bhagat Singh fought for India’s independence and you met Khalistanis so stop spoiling the name of the revolutionary, said Vishwas.

Speaking to ANI, he said that in 2017 Punjab Assembly Elections terror sympathisers came to his place to meet him.

Kejriwal must say he is against Khalistan and will not allow them to spread their tentacles. What is the harm in saying this,” he said.

Earlier today, Kejriwal termed allegations made by Vishwas as “laughable” and said that he must be the “world’s sweetest terrorist” who builds schools and hospitals.

The AAP leader said that even Britishers had called Bhagat Singh a terrorist, but the country knows there was no bigger patriot than him.

Rahul Gandhi was the first to level accusations followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Sukhbir Badal using the same language, Kejriwal said adding that they have made national security a comedy.

The AAP convenor had earlier said that the SAD, Congress and the BJP have come together to defeat the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab Assembly elections.

They fear if the AAP comes to power it will put an end to the loot that these parties have been carrying out in the state, Kejriwal claimed.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha had already described Vishwas’s allegations as “malicious, unfounded and fabricated.”

Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi took to Twitter and demanded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi an impartial inquiry into the allegations levelled by Kumar Vishwas.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also sought direct answers from Kejriwal.

In a tweet, the Wayanad MP said, “Mr. Kejriwal, give a direct answer – Is Kumar Vishwas speaking the truth? Yes or no?”
