Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently praised the film The Sabarmati Report for showing the truth behind the 2002 Godhra train tragedy. He highlighted how the film helps expose the real story, dismissing the surrounding controversy. Modi noted that false narratives can only last for a limited period, and it is good that the truth is now available for everyone to see.

Film Focuses on the Godhra Tragedy

Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, The Sabarmati Report looks into the tragic events of 2002, which led to riots in Gujarat. The film, starring Vikrant Massey as a journalist, was released on November 15. Modi’s praise followed a review from a user on X, who called it a must-watch for its honest portrayal of the tragedy, in which 59 people, including women and children, lost their lives.

Vikrant Massey Discusses Challenges During Filming

Vikrant Massey, who plays a journalist in the film, talked about the challenges he faced working on such a sensitive project. He revealed receiving threats but reassured fans that the team is handling the situation together. Despite the difficulties, Massey is proud of the film’s role in telling the truth.
