PM Modi Gears Up For Longest Foreign Tour In 10 Years: Check Full Itinerary And Countries He Will Be Visiting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave on a five-nation foreign visit from July 2 to July 9. This visit will begin from Ghana and is considered to be his longest diplomatic visit in the last decade. The main focus of this tour will be on South America, Caribbean islands and African countries.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this visit of the Prime Minister will start from Ghana and end in Namibia via Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil.

PM Modi’s Visit To 5 Countries | Major stops And Objectives

1. Ghana

Prime Minister Modi is going to Ghana for the first time, which is the first visit of any Indian Prime Minister after three decades. During this, he will support the establishment of a vaccine production center and address the Parliament of Ghana.

2. Trinidad And Tobago

This visit is taking place at the invitation of Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamala Prasad-Bissessar. This will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister in the last 25 years. On this occasion, PM Modi will also address the joint session of the Parliament there.

3. Argentina

In the third leg of the tour, Prime Minister Modi will visit Argentina, where bilateral talks will be held with President Javier Miley. During the talks, discussions will be held on further strengthening cooperation in areas such as defense, agriculture, mining, energy, trade and investment.

4. Brazil

The Prime Minister will then reach Brazil, where he will participate in the 17th summit of BRICS 2025. This will be Modi’s fourth visit to Brazil. In the conference, he will raise the issue of terrorism, citing the recent Pahalgam terror attack and ‘Operation Sindoor’.

According to officials, the joint declaration of BRICS will also strongly condemn this attack, in which 26 people lost their lives.

5. Namibia

The last leg of the visit will be in Namibia, where the Prime Minister will arrive as an Indian Prime Minister after a gap of 27 years. During this, he will meet President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and will also address the Parliament there.

The main agenda here is to reach an agreement on implementing India’s digital payment system, UPI, in Namibia. This system is already operational in Bhutan, Mauritius, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, France and UAE.
