The India vs Australia Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 series ended at a scoreline of 3-1. Australian team reclaimed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the first time after 2017. Australian captain Pat Cummins was a major reason behind Australia’s success in the BGT 2024-25 wherein he picked up 25 wickets from 10 innings at an average of 21.36 whereas also scored 159 runs from five matches. Cummins’ highest score was 49 runs.

Pat Cummins also achieved an elite feat during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 and became the first-ever bowler to pick up 200 wickets in the World Test Championship. Cummins dismissed Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar for 12 runs on Day 3 of the IND vs AUS 5th Test and achieved the milestone.
