Panic Grips Pakistan At LoC: Army Rushes Troop And Artilleries Amid Fears Of Indian Retaliation – Here’s What We Know!

As tensions between India and Pakistan escalate, with fears of a potential conflict rising, a major crisis has gripped Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC). Pakistan’s Defence Minister and Information & Broadcasting Minister have openly acknowledged the possibility of an imminent retaliatory strike by India. In response, Pakistan has reportedly begun rapidly deploying additional troops and weapons to the LoC following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on April 22.

A key part of this military buildup is the deployment of Chinese-made SH-15 howitzers, which Pakistan started using three years ago. The army is moving soldiers and heavy weapons from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region to the frontlines near the LoC. Intelligence has also found active terror camps in Leepa and Jura in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), where over 40 such launch pads are located. According to defense experts, this military movement shows Pakistan is deeply worried about a possible major retaliatory strike from India.

Yesterday, several Indian posts in Kupwara came under heavy machine-gun fire from Pakistani forces, as Islamabad braces for a possible Indian retaliation within the next 2–3 days. Pakistan’s Defence Minister and Information & Broadcasting Minister have both hinted at the looming threat and appealed to the international community, expressing concerns over an expected retaliatory strike from India. The tensions have risen since the April 22 Pahalgam terror strike.

Reason For Heavy Deployment At Loc

The heavy deployment stems from Pakistan’s anxiety over a potential Indian retaliation, similar to the strikes it faced after the Balakot and Uri attacks. This concern is believed to be the main reason behind Pakistan’s increased military presence along the border. Meanwhile, the Indian government has assured that its forces are strongly positioned across the LoC, fully prepared to respond to any provocation from the Pakistani side with even greater force.

How India Is Preparing

Prime Minister Modi has granted the military complete operational freedom to respond to the Pakistani attack. He stated that the armed forces are free to decide the mode, targets, and timing of any response. Meanwhile, Pakistan has continued ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) for the eighth consecutive day, with fresh rounds of targeted fire reported in Uri, Akhnoor, and Kupwara.
