Sanvikaa rose to immense fame after playing the role of Rinki in the popular show ‘Panchayat’. From appearing in a cameo role in the first season to becoming one of the main characters in the new season, her journey as Rinki has truly been entertaining. However, Sanvikaa recently made it to the headlines due to her cryptic post about wishing to be an insider and being treated as an equal. In an exclusive interview with News24, she clarifies that her post was taken out of context and it was blown out of proportion.
While talking about the post and how it grabbed the headlines, Sanvikaa tells us, “That post came from a very different context. The articles that I’m reading, about me have been blown out of proportion right now. It did come from a very hurtful place. It was not what articles were saying, like, you know, not getting work. It is not the case. I’m fortunate enough to have good calls, and good, opportunities. And it is my choice that I’m taking my own sweet time to pick the characters that I am excited about. I am not in a rush.”
“I just want certain characters. With the stage Panchayat has given me, I want to do better things. The post did come from a workplace, but I did not know that it would grab so many headlines. I think it was just in my head and I just felt like venting out. I just wrote it and, I don’t want to say anything more about it,” she adds.
For the unversed, Sanvikaa’s post read, “Sometimes I wish I was an insider or maybe from a very powerful background, things would have been so much easier (maybe, I don’t know). As basic as getting respect and being treated as an equal. The battles would have been lesser. Hanging on…”

Panchayat Season 4 will focus on the upcoming Panchayat election in Phulera as Pradhan and Bhushan go against each other. This put everyone’s future at stake, including Abhishek aka Sachiv Ji.
Apart from Sanvikaa, the show also stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, Ashok Pathak and Pankaj Jha. Panchayat Season 4 will release on Prime Video on June 24.
