Pakistani actor Wahaj Ali has become a household name after the success of his recent shows Tere Bin and Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha. However, his huge fan following is not happy with the actor’s upcoming series Sunn Mera Dil, which features him opposite Maya Ali.
Soon after the actor shared teaser of Sunn Mera Dil on his social media handle, fans thronged the comment section and heavily criticised the pairing of Wahaj and Maya. They questioned the chemistry between them and expressed disappointment.
A user commented, “Not interested in this pair. They look more friends than a couple.” Another wrote, “What is this???? There will be no chemistry between this couple.” One of them went to the extent of calling the two brother-sister. “Wahaj or Maya ko dekh kar couple vibes nahi aati chemistry to zero he dono ki. Behen bhai lagte hain,” read the comment.
Netizens also called out the makers’ decision of casting Maya Ali in the show. “Wahaj Ali deserved better actresses like Sajal, Iqra, ramsha or Ayeza but no Maya. People already showed hatred towards this couple. Better luck next time. We as fans will only watch for you (Wahaj.)
For the unversed, Wahaj Ali and Maya Ali previously shared screen space in the historical drama Jo Bichar Gaye.
Where is Tere Bin 2?
Another reason for disappointment among fans was makers’ silence over Tere Bin 2, which has been awaited for a long time now. The show, which featured Yumna Zaidi with Wahaj Ali, broke all records of viewership.
Asking to revive the much-loved pair, people commented, “Waiting for Tere Bin 2. Bring back Wahaj and Yumna.” Another comment read, “Guys sach mein this is so unexpected. Tere Bin Season 2 ka wait kar rahe the aur ye Wahaj sir ki doosri drama serial ho rahi hai. We Indians are obsessed with Season 2.” Other comments included, “I was waiting for Tere Bin 2.” “Tere Bin kab aayega.”
Giving the example of Yumna and Wahaj’s stunning chemistry, people shared that it cannot be created by anyone else. Few highlighted comments include, “No one can beat Wahaj and Yumna’s chemistry”, “Without Yumra, the drama is sparkles.”
