Pak Journalist’s Big Claim: ‘Balochistan Liberation Army Targets Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons’

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is eyeing the nuclear weapons of Pakistan after giving a jolt by hijacking the Jaffar Express which claimed several lives in the incident. The Pakistan Army and security forces were on their toes after the BLA attack took place in the Baloch province and other parts of the nation.

Pakistan journalist Mansoor Ali Khan claimed that Baloch rebels are targeting Pakistan’s nuclear weapons. He shared a video of Baloch supporters on his channel in which the supporters are seen demanding an end to the nuclear weapons of Pakistan. In the video, the supporters dubbed it as a threat. Despite the video being said to be a year old, he raised questions over the intent.

Khan alleged that the Baloch rebels have connections with India. To support his claim, he shared a video on his X account wherein two children hold India’s and Free-Baloch flags. Interestingly, Khan did not know the flag was of which province, but he dragged India’s involvement in Balochistan’s freedom movement.

Khan questioned why the children are raising India’s flag if they are fighting for their rights. He also expressed his concerns about how Pakistan’s nuclear programme came amid their freedom movement. Khan objected to the participation of Baloch activists on Indian media channels.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) announced the “successful conclusion” of Operation Dar-e-Bolan on March 18. BLA accused the Pakistan army of resorting to lies and deceit to cover up their defeat.

According to BLA, the operation comprised two parts, the first phase was completed in February 2024 with the capture of Mach City while the second phase began with the attack on the Jalar Express in March 2025.

In the statement, BLA stated that the Pakistan army faced defeat in the operation as over 354 security personnel were killed while more than 100 others were injured and 214 personnel were taken hostage.
