Pahalgam Terror Attack: Sketch Of Three Terrorists Released By J&K Police; Search Ops Underway In Valley

Sketch of three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam terror attack have been released by the Jammu and Kashmir Police . The name of the terrorists are: Abu Talha, Aasif Fauji, Suleman Shah.

26 civilians were killed and several others were injured in the Pahalgam terror attack on Tuesday. The responsibility for the brutal killing has been claimed by the Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy outfit of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Pahalgam terror attack victims in Srinagar. PM Modi is likely to chair Cabinet Committee for Security (CCS) meeting at 6 PM in Delhi today. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team visited the Pahalgam terror attack site on Wednesday and is assisting the Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) Police in probing the terror attack.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held meeting with EAM S Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval at the Palam Airport. PM arrived in Delhi on Wednesday, cutting short his Saudi Arabia visit. The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a search operation in the general area of Baisran, Pahalgam, Anantnag, to nab the attackers.

 

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation has arranged four additional flights from Kashmir – two each to Delhi and Mumbai – on Wednesday for the safe transfer of tourists.
