Pahalgam Terror Attack: FanCode Pulls PSL 2025 Streaming In India, Delivering Major Blow To Pakistan

In a horrifying incident, 28 innocent people were killed in a terror attack in Pahalgam. The entire nation is grieving and outraged over this tragedy. Following the attack, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suffered a significant setback. According to media reports, FanCode has decided to stop the live streaming of the ‘Pakistan Super League’ (PSL 2025) in India starting today, April 24. This decision is being seen as a major blow to the PCB.

While IPL 2025 is currently underway in India, PSL 2025 is being played in Pakistan. The PSL, which began on April 11, has so far hosted 13 matches. Until now, all these matches were being streamed live on FanCode in India. However, it is now reported that the remaining matches will no longer be broadcast in India, which is expected to significantly reduce the PSL’s digital viewership.

On Tuesday afternoon, terrorists launched a brutal attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in a bloodbath. Twenty-seven people were killed in the indiscriminate firing. Among the victims were two foreign nationals, as well as two local shawl vendors.

Reports suggest Pakistan’s involvement in the attack. It is being called the deadliest terror strike in the valley since the Pulwama attack in 2019. Following the incident, there is a strong demand from citizens for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take strict retaliatory action.

Major Steps Taken by India:

In response to the terrorist attack in the Pahalgam Valley, India has taken several decisive steps:

The Indus Waters Treaty has been suspended.

All movement across the Attari border has been halted.

Visas issued to Pakistani nationals have been cancelled with immediate effect.

An order has been issued to close the Indian Embassy in Pakistan.
