OTT Releases This Week: CTRL, GOAT And More Movies, Web Series Streaming Soon

OTT platforms have become a big source of entertainment for the cinephiles over the past few years. Every week, streaming giants like Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, and others release new slate of movies and web series in different genres and languages. From September 30 to October 6, the audiences will get to witness content in various genres including romance, action, comedy and thriller.

Take a look at the list of movies and web series releasing on the OTT platforms this week.

GOAT

‘GOAT’ stars Vijay in the lead role with  Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Parvati Nair, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren and Yugendran. The movie revolves around an elite agent, who retires after several successful missions and decides to live a normal life. Years later, he reunites with his team when a mission comes to haunt him. It will release on Netflix on October 3.

Heartstopper 3

‘Heartstopper’ revolves around two teens Charlie and Nick, who develop a beautiful friendship and later fall in love. The series stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke in the lead roles with Jonathan Bailey joining the third season. ‘Heartstopper 3’ will release on Netflix on October 3.

CTRL

‘CTRL’ revolves around a couple Nella and Joe, who make content on social media. Things take a turn when Joe cheats and Nella asks an AI to erase him. The movie stars Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samat in the lead roles. It will release on Netflix on October 4.

Manvat Murders


‘Manvat Murders’ revolves around a cop trying to solve seven murders that have been left unsolved for years. The show stars Ashutosh Gowariker, Sai Tamhankar, Makarand Anaspure, Sonali Kulkarni, Kishor Kadam and Mayur Khandge in the lead roles. It will release on SonyLiv on October 4.

The Platform 2


‘The Platform 2’ is set in a dystopian world, where a mysterious leader imposes his law in a brutal system of vertical cells with a dubious food distribution method. The movie stars Milena Smit and Hovik Keuchkerian in the lead roles. It will release on Netflix on October 4.

Love Next Door- Finale


‘Love Next Door’ revolves around Seok Ryu, who comes back to her home in South Korea from the US to reboot her life. She gets involved in a heartwarming romance with her childhood friend Seung Hyo. The show stars Jung Hae In and Jung So Min in the lead roles. Its finale will release on October 6.
