Nepal displayed incredible talent as they thrashed Mongolia at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, 2023, and broke a few international records in the course of doing that.

Yuvraj Singh’s Record Was Broken!

Nepal batter Dipendra Singh Airee became the fastest one to make a fifty in T20I inside nine balls, three balls quicker than the record by Yuvraj Singh in the 2007 T20 World Cup against England.

Fastest T20I Hundred!

Another Nepal batter, Kushal Malla hogging the limelight as he became the quickest centurion in T20I history as he reached his 100 runs in just 34 balls. This superseded David Miller and Rohit Sharma of India and Sudesh Wickramasekara of the Czech Republic who earlier held this record at 35 balls.

Highest Score In T20 Cricket

Nepal hammered an astonishing score of 314 runs – the first 300 score in T20 cricket with a breathtaking 26 sixes. While bowling, they restricted Mongolia to only 41 runs, creating a record for the greatest victory margin in the history of T20 cricket. This match marked a big day not only for Nepal’s cricket but also for the sport itself.
