Nushrratt Bharuccha recently shared a promo from her upcoming social drama Janhit Mein Jaari, where the actress could be spotted selling condoms on the streets. Though it is a scene from her upcoming movie, this act of Nushrratt did not go quite well with a section of netizens and they started trolling the actress for selling condoms on streets.
After receiving a series of nasty comments on her profile, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress decided to hit back at the trolls. Nushrratt posted a video on her Instagram where she could be seen sharing the distasteful comments made against her for selling and endorsing condoms. She concluded her video by saying, “Bas yahi soch toh badalni hai. Yahi toh main keh rahi hun, Koi baat nahi, aap ungli uthao, main aawaz uthati hun. (This thought process needs to change. This is what I am saying. No issues, you keep pointing fingers, I will keep raisng my voice.)”
Nushrratt shared a glimpse of her character in Janhit Mein Jaari on her Instagram a few days back. She captioned the post, “Ungliyan nahi apni soch upar karo! Yeh suchna hai #JanhitMeinJaari. Releasing in cinemas 10th June 2022.”
Nushrratt Bharuccha’s Janhit Mein Jaari is a social drama about a woman who takes up a challenging job selling condoms in a small town in India. The plot of the movie revolves around the journey of the challenges she faces amidst the social taboo and how she takes on the resistance from her family and the entire town. Janhit Mein Jaari is all set to hit the screens on June 10, 2022.
Meanwhile, other than Janhit Mein Jaari, Nushrratt will also be seen featuring in Ram Setu alongside Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez. She will also be witnessed in Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer Selfiee.
