There are several important documents which are there in any country. In India, people living here should have Aadhar Cards, PAN Cards, Voter cards ration cards, and others. For travelling abroad one needs to have several documents like a passport. In India passport is issued by the Ministry of External Affairs. Recently, the government has made several changes in the rules regarding passports. What Annexure J Includes?

• Mention their name and marital status.
• Confirmation that they are living together.
• Joint photograph of the couple.
• Aadhaar Number of both spouses.
• Voter ID Number
• Passport number.

Marriage Certificate Will Not Be Required

Previously, if the husband and wife wanted to get their names added to the passport, then they had to go through a long process. Apart from this, they used to submit the marriage certificate. In such a situation, when a passport is needed to go abroad for a job or other work, then they have to go through a long process.

In several states in India, getting a marriage certificate is not given much importance, due to this if people want to add the name of their life partner then they have to go through a lot of difficulties.
