Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been hitting the headlines due to the rumours about their divorce. Simi Garewal, who is a popular talk show host and actress, recently shared an old video on Instagram from her interview with Abhishek Bachchan and praised him. She soon started facing trolls from netizens for supporting Abhishek amid his divorce rumours with Aishwarya Rai. Simi Garewal, who deleted the post from Instagram, is now getting support from netizens on Reddit. 

Sharing the now-deleted video on Instagram, Simi Gareal wrote in the caption, “I think everyone who knows Abhishek personally will agree he is among the nicest men in Bollywood. Good values and innate decency.” 

Meanwhile, Farah Khan, who shares a close friendship with Abhishek, commented, “I fully agree! He is just the nicest guy.”

On Reddit, netizens defended Simi and shared that she can support anyone. One Reddit user wrote, “Wow this is getting ridiculous now. What business is it of anyone to bully her if she wants to share her opinion of him?” Another person commented, “Why did she take it down? She shouldn’t have taken the video down just bc of what velle people on the internet had to say. They follow cancel culture, and thats what they’re trying to do with Abhishek.” 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek will next star in Shoojit Sircar’s film ‘I Want To Talk’ with Ahliya Bamroo and Johnny Lever. He will also be seen in ‘Be Happy’, which will release on Prime Video. He was last seen in the sports film ‘Ghoomer’. He will also be seen in ‘Housefull 5’.
