US President Donald Trump defended Attorney General Pam Bondi amidst criticism from a section of his supporters, urging them to cease focusing on the investigation into the death of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The backlash arose from the Justice Department’s handling of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s death and his alleged network of associates.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump dismissed the public’s interest in the Epstein case, stating that “nobody cares about” him and that further time and energy should not be wasted on the matter, in an apparent bid to unify his political base.
“What’s going on with my “boys” and, in some cases, “gals?” They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and “selfish people” are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein,” Trump said.
Trump further stressed that the FBI, including Director Kash Patel, should prioritize investigating voter fraud, political corruption, and the 2020 election instead of focusing on Epstein-related documents.
“The Left is imploding! Kash Patel, and the FBI, must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue, The Rigged and Stolen Election of 2020, and arresting Thugs and Criminals, instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, Radical Left inspired Documents on Jeffrey Epstein,” Trump added.
The findings of the Epstein investigation, conducted by Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, have drawn criticism from conservative figures, including Laura Loomer and Elon Musk, who claim it lacks “a lot of names” and “a lot of flight logs” that Bondi had previously promised to uncover.
Earlier, Elon Musk claimed that the details and findings of the Epstein investigation have been withheld from public disclosure because President Donald Trump’s name was present in the files.

The Epstein Files are a collection of documents, evidence and court records relating to Jeffrey Epstein, a financier and convicted sex offender accused of running a sex trafficking ring involving minor girls.
Epstein, accused of multiple counts of sex trafficking minor girls, was known for his relationships with prominent figures, including celebrities and business leaders. His accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was convicted of sex trafficking and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022.
