Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) Releases First List of Candidates- Know the Key Candidates!

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United), JDU, released first list of candidates. 

The list has been released with the approval of the Party president Nitish Kumar. It contains the names of Janata Dal (United) candidates for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 which will be conducted in the early November.

The first list of The Janata Dal (United) list contains of 57 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The announcement lists candidates for all four seats claimed by Chirag Paswan, indicating the party’s strong resolve to contest those constituencies.

  •  Ratnesh Sada from Sonbarsa
  •  Vidyasagar Nishad from Morwa
  •  Dhumal Singh from Ekma
  •  Kaushal Kishore from Rajgir

Senior Leaders and sitting MLAs in the List

  •  Vijay Kumar Choudhary, a minister in the state government, will contest from Sarai Ranjan
  •  Narendra Narayan Yadav from Alamnagar
  •  Niranjan Kumar Mehta from Bihariganj
  •  Ramesh Rishi Dev from Singheshwar
  •  Kavita Saha from Madhepura
  •  Gandeshwar Shah from Mahisi
  •  Atirek Kumar from Kusheshwarsthan

Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) – BJP meet

In another development, Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha is currently meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting is taking place while there is a dispute over seat-sharing within the NDA. It has been going on for about 30 minutes. Nityanand Rai is also attending. Kushwaha had set a condition before agreeing to join the meeting.
