Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is proud to partner as the Accelerated by Speed Sponsor partner of the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025, a landmark event that marks a historic first for Indian athletics – hosting a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold level javelin competition on home soil. Organised by two-time Olympic medalist and World Champion Neeraj Chopra, this pioneering event will take place on July 5, 2025, at the iconic Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru.

This isn’t just a javelin competition. It’s a statement – that India is ready to take centre stage in global track and field. Bringing together an elite field of international talent, including Olympic medalists Anderson Peters, Julius Yego, and Thomas Rohler, the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 promises to be one of the most star-studded javelin events ever hosted in the country.

“BPCL has had the honour of supporting Neeraj Chopra through his inspiring journey over the years, and we take immense pride in witnessing his growth from a world-class athlete to a global ambassador for Indian sport. Our association with him reflects our commitment to nurturing excellence and empowering talent. The Neeraj Chopra Classic is not just a sporting event – it’s a symbol of India’s athletic aspirations taking flight on the world stage.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Neeraj for his relentless vision and leadership in organising an event of this magnitude, which is helping reshape India’s sporting narrative and placing Indian athletics firmly on the global map,” said a BPCL spokesperson.

Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 is co-sanctioned by the Athletics Federation of India and is poised to be one of the most significant sporting spectacles, beyond the sport, the event will offer fans an unforgettable experience with live music performances, fan zones, and interactive engagement activities, making it a true celebration of sport, culture, and country.

As athletes from across the globe converge in Bengaluru, BPCL extends a warm welcome to all participants and wishes them the very best for the competition. With a legacy of supporting Indian sports since 1987- nurturing over 200 athletes, offering advanced training, and recently launching a national sports scholarship – BPCL remains committed to empowering sporting talent. With Neeraj Chopra leading from the front, this event is more than a contest – it’s a moment of national pride and global recognition for Indian athletics.
