Nayab Singh Saini Takes Oath As Haryana Chief Minister Amid NDA’s Show Of Strength

BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini took oath as Haryana Chief Minister on Thursday. The swearing-in ceremony was held in Dussehra Ground, Sector 5 of Panchkula. The oath taking ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister and BJP national president JP Nadda, Union Ministers Rajeev Ranjan Singh, Jayant Choudhary, Ramdas Athawale, Chirag Paswan, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida, Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and several BJP leaders including Manjinder Singh Sirsa and others.

 

Nayab Singh Saini was administered oath by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.

Apart from Saini, BJP MLAs Anil Vij, Krishan Lal Panwar, Rao Narbir Singh, Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goel, Arvind Sharma, Shyam Singh Rana, Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Krishan Bedi, Shruti Choudhry, Arti Singh Rao took oath as Haryana Ministers.

Third Consecutive Term For BJP In Haryana

BJP has formed government in Haryana for the third consecutive term and it had selected Nayab Singh Saini as the leader of the Haryana BJP Legislative Party on Wednesday. Notably, Nayab Singh Saini took oath as Haryana CM for the second time.

Ahead of his swearing-in ceremony, speaking to ANI, Nayab Singh Saini had thanked people for their support and trust in BJP to rule the state again. Saini said, “I want to thank the people of Haryana for showing trust in the double-engine government and the policies of Prime Minister Modi for the third time. In the coming times, our government will work under the leadership of PM Modi to take Haryana forward at a rapid pace.”

Several prominent leaders of the BJP reacted on oath-taking ceremony of Nayab Singh Saini and expressed their happiness on formation of BJP government in Haryana. They lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his policies and good governance of Haryana government in last 5 years.

Speaking to ANI, Union Minister Jual Oram congratulated Saini and said that winning streak of the BJP will continue. He said, “My congratulations to him, We have formed the government for the third consecutive time and the Congress had to face defeat. The Congress is getting wiped out but its ego is increasing every day. PM Modi also came to power for the third time, this will continue ahead also… The people are choosing us because of our right governance.” He asserted that BJP will win the upcoming assembly elections and form government in Maharashtra and Jharkhand also.

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the new government of Haryana and assured that Nayab Singh Saini’s government will continue to focus on the development of Haryana. Dhami said, “Nayab Singh Saini will continue to focus on the development of the state for the next five years. I want to congratulate the new government and CM Nayab Singh Saini for the historic mandate.”

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM and BJP leader Brajesh Pathak thanked the people of Haryana for their decision to choose BJP again. He also claimed that BJP will win UP by-polls also. “BJP got the blessings of the 36 fraternities of Haryana under the leadership of PM Modi. I thank the people of Haryana. They made a decision in their favour. Under the Congress regime, loot, nepotism, corruption and ‘parchi-kharchi’ were promoted… Haryana rejected Congress and gave a mandate to BJP… BJP will win all 9 seats in the UP bye-polls,” added Pathak.

Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM and JanaSena Chief Pawan Kalyan also arrived to attend the oath taking ceremony and extended his best wishes to the new Haryana Government. Pawan said, “Best wishes to the new government. This is a remarkable, unprecedented achievement. It shows the ability of leadership.”
