Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was the judge at Kapil Sharma’s show, has returned to ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ and its teaser has created excitement among fans. But this time, he will appear on the show as a guest along with his wife and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh. The teaser has shown a glimpse of the laughter riot that will take place in the show.  

In the promo, Navjot Singh Sidhu is seen sitting at Archana Puran Singh’s seat as Kapil Sharma mistakes him for Sunil Grover. Archana gets worried and says, “Kapil, tu sardar sahab se bolde mere kursi se uth jaye, kabse kabza karke baith gaye hai (Kapil, please ask Sidhu sir to leave my chair, he has occupied it).”

Fans are delighted to see him back on the show and missed his shayari. One person wrote, “Welcome back paaji we missed you so much in the show.” Another one added, “So good to see u back in the show. This show was never the same without u.” 

For the unversed, Navjot Singh Sidhu was the permanent guest in ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. He alsp appeared in the show ‘Bigg Boss 6’.  

After gaining massive popularity with Kapil Sharma’s show, the former cricketer-politician got into a controversy due to his comments on the Pulwama attack. He said at that time, “It (the terror attack) is a cowardly and dastardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.”

This statement caused a huge backlash and Navjot Singh Sidhu was replaced by Archana Puran Singh.
