Mohammad Shami OUT Of India-Pakistan Clash? Find Out Why The Speedster Had To Leave The Ground Mid-Play

Mohammad Shami is off the field in the play against Pakistan after bowling 3 overs in the first powerplay. In the previous match he bagged himself a 5-wicket hall against Bangladesh in the inaugural match of the Champions Trophy. His return in the play is still uncertain and is under medical attention. He is key for India with the new ball and stablizes the bowling attack from one end.

Shami was seen uncomfrotable right from the first over when he bowled 5 wides. After bowling 3 over he felt discomfort in his hamstring and the physio arrived on the field and took Shami for the medical care. Shami was seen checking his ankle/calf area with the physio running out to have a look. Conceding only three runs in the over, Shami immediately walked off the field into the dressing room at the end of five overs with Pakistan moving up to 25 for no loss.

Shami on the comeback trail from his long injury lay-off, picked up a five-wicket haul in the previous outing against Bangladesh in Dubai. Shami followed Ravindra Jadeja as the second India to claim a five-for in the Champions Trophy and became the quickest bowler (in terms of balls bowled) to reach 200 ODI wickets.
