Denzel Washington’s unexpected disclosure that Black Panther 3 was in development has now been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios. Alongside the exciting news, Marvel’s head, Kevin Feige, also announced the departure of Nate Moore, a key producer with the studio since 2010. Moore will focus on other Hollywood projects but will continue to be involved with the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World and return “to the world of Wakanda” for Black Panther 3.

Departure of Nate Moore

Nate Moore, a core member of Marvel Studios since 2010, will be leaving to focus on new Hollywood ventures. Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito praised Moore’s impact on the studio, with Feige stating, “Nate is a fantastic executive and colleague as well as a wonderful friend to all of us here at Marvel Studios. His influence will continue to reverberate in our storytelling.” Moore, reflecting on his Marvel tenure, added, “Nearly everything I know about producing I’ve learned from my time at Marvel Studios. I’m excited to apply my experience and passion for film towards theatrical movies in all genres, including returning to the world of Wakanda for Black Panther 3.”

Denzel Washington’s Involvement

During a recent appearance on Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast, Denzel Washington accidentally revealed his involvement in Black Panther 3, which he described as an “unforeseen slip.” The actor, who was promoting Gladiator 2, called up writer-director Ryan Coogler to apologize for the faux pas, praising Coogler as “humble and full of ideas.” Washington’s disclosure adds to the excitement and speculation surrounding the new film.

Marvel’s Next Steps

Marvel has not yet disclosed a specific release date or plot details for Black Panther 3. The franchise, which starred the late Chadwick Boseman, featured a talented ensemble cast including Lupita Nyong’o, Daniel Kaluuya, and Forest Whitaker. As fans eagerly anticipate more news, the studio continues to keep details tightly under wraps, ensuring surprises remain intact for the new installment.
