Lucknow to continue persisting with Manish Pandey? Predicted LSG’s likely playing XI against RCB

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have been in smashing form in their debut season in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Despite a couple of losses, LSG have been the best team in the tournament as they have pushed sides in every single game they have played and were in strong positions to win the games where they fell short (against Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals).
Skipper KL Rahul coming back into the form after a couple of freak first-ball dismissals was the best thing happened for Lucknow in the last game against Mumbai Indians. Rahul started a little watchful with Quinton de Kock getting off to a quickfire start but he soon gained the upper hand and went on to smash a fantastic century, his third in the IPL. The bowlers led by Avesh Khan played a major part in restricting Mumbai as they notched up their fourth win of the competition and will be hoping to continue the momentum against the fellow four-match winners Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Openers Rahul and de Kock will hope to get the inconsistency out of their partnership and set up a nice platform for the batters to come. After three poor knocks, Manish Pandey was left out of the side for a couple of games and came back to play a measure knock of 38 off 29. Manish may not have got a big score but Lucknow aren’t likely to drop him after one game.
Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Ayush Badoni and Jason Holder will take care of all three departments and form the core group of the side in the middle order. The five players give the all-round strength to the Lucknow side and Andy Flower, Gautam Gambhir & Co. will be hoping for them to continue their run.
Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi pick themselves, however, Dushmantha Chameera hasn’t been consistent. Chameera, who replaced Andrew Tye after missing a couple of games, bowled a great final over against Mumbai and is likely to be staying in the side for at least one or two games.
Lucknow Super Giants likely playing XI: KL Rahul (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Ayush Badoni, Jason Holder, Krunal Pandya, Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi
