Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Engages With Local Traders In Srinagar And Celebrates Mela Kheer Bhawani

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha made a significant visit to Lal Chowk in Srinagar , where he engaged with shopkeepers and local traders in the bustling commercial hub surrounding the historic clock tower. During his visit, he attentively listened to their grievances and concerns, fostering a spirit of collaboration and support within the traders community.

In a gesture of camaraderie, the Lieutenant Governor took a moment to enjoy a cup of tea at a local shop, further connecting with the traders of the area. Following his interactions in Lal Chowk, Sinha paid homage at the Balidan Stambh (Martyrs’ Memorial) located at Partab Park, honoring the sacrifices made by those who fought for the country’s peace and prosperity.

Earlier in the day, the Lieutenant Governor visited Tulmulla in Ganderbal to welcome devotees attending the Mela Kheer Bhawani, a significant cultural and religious event. He offered prayers at the temple, celebrating the rich heritage and traditions of the among Kashmiri Pandits.
