During the investigation into One Direction former member Liam Payne’s unfortunate death, police discovered that two mystery women spent time with him before the incident. This led to police speculating about potential “foul play” in his death. However, upon questioning the two women, police uncovered shocking details.
Liam spent his last two hours with two 25-year-old prostitutes, whom he met through an “escort” website, an investigation officer told La Nación news. They informed the authorities that they spent time with the One Direction singer in his room in CasaSur hotel and drank alcohol with him. However, within an hour, they got into an argument about payment, and the women left the room just hours before the incident.
“They left prior to 4 p.m. from Payne’s room [and] left the actual hotel around that time because there was a problem, as Payne did not want to pay them,” an official told the portal on the pretext of not being named.
According to officials involved in the investigation, the women claimed that the singer seemed “normal” before they left.
The officials also informed the portal that both women were very cooperative throughout the investigation. “The witnesses were cooperative. Not only with their declarations, but they also gave us access to their cell phones,” a close source informed the outlet.
During the investigation, police discovered that just before the fatal fall, at around 5 pm, Liam was seen in a heated argument with the women, believed to be an escort, in the hotel lobby. At around 2 pm, American tourist Michael Fleishmann witnessed the altercation and reported it to hotel management.
Fleishmann quoted Liam repeatedly saying, “I’ll give you $20,000 just because I can. I have $55 million and I like to help people.” He also informed that “He seemed very upset, agitated, a little wild, walking around and pacing. He seemed very energised.”
Liam died from multiple injuries after falling from the balcony of his hotel in Argentina. He was staying in Argentina’s hotel with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy. According to TMZ, Liam had reportedly consumed hallucinogenic drugs and was under its influence. The aforementioned drugs are known for causing psychotic attacks and hallucinations.
