A television actress has reportedly filed a complaint against her co-star for molesting her at a recent Holi party in Mumbai. She alleged that the accused forcefully tried to apply colour on her despite her refusal and was intoxicated. The incident reportedly took place at a Holi party in Mumbai’s western suburbs on Friday.

According to Free Press Journal, the sctress told police in her statement, “He was trying to put colours on me and other women in the party. I did not want to play Holi with him hence I objected and went away from him.”

She further shared, “I went and hid myself behind the panipuri stall at the terrace but he came after me and tried to put colour on me. I covered my face, but he forcefully grabbed me and put colour on my cheeks and then told me, ‘I love you and will see who saves you from me’. After this, he touched me inappropriately and put colour on me. I pushed him away. I was mentally shocked and went straight to the washroom.”

She claimed that the accused even misbehaved with her friends when they tried to confront him. After the shocking incident, she went to the police and filed an FIR against that co-star. The accused actor has been booked under Section 75(1)(i) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Free Press Journal further reported that the police officials have sent a legal notice to him, and were also recording the statements of the other guests and combing through the CCTV footage of the party.
