Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan has displayed unwavering commitment to his weight loss journey, inspiring many with his remarkable transformation. Despite his stellar domestic performances, Sarfaraz often found himself overlooked for national selection. Undeterred, he shed 17 kilograms, completely reshaping his physique and determination.
Sarfaraz Khan made his Test debut against England last year in Rajkot where he hit 62 in first innings and 68 runs in second. He made an incredible debut but still couldn’t manage to keep his place in the Indian Team.
After his weight loss and transformation, former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen appreciated him and gave a harsh reality check to India’s forgotten cricketer Prithvi Shaw. He posted on X, formerly Twitter and wrote:
“Outstanding effort, young man! Huge congrats and I’m sure it’s going to lead to better and more consistent performances on the field. I love the time you’ve spent reorganising your priorities! LFG!

Sarfaraz Khan has played 6 Test matches and scored 371 runs which includes one hundred and 3 half-centuries with and average of 37.10 and a strike rate of 74.94.
