Tonight’s episode of megastar Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 saw the reunion of two of the most loved and widely watched shows KBC and popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The entire cast of the comedy-drama series graced the show and met Big B. Amitabh welcomed them with thunderous applause as they marked 3,320 episodes.
On the Shandaar Shukrvaar episode, the TMKOC creator said that the money they win will go to an NGO named Yuva Unstoppable. Amitabh decided to use the help of chits to pick contestants for the quiz game since the hot seat can only be grace by two contestants at a time.
He said, “You all are 21 people.” Jethaa Lal quipped, “Two people can sit here and rest will sit in a row here on the floors.” This made the host go: “Hey bhagwan.” After a fun chat and some Garba, producer Asit Kumar Modi and actor Shyam Pathak — who’s known for portraying Popatlal Pandey aka Patrakaar Popatlal- sat on the hot seat. They managed to answer all the questions and win 10,000.

For the next round, Dilip Josh aka Jethaa Lal and Champak Lal fame Amit Bhatt graced the hot seat. Their camaraderie and hilarious clips from TMKOC left Big B in splits. During the show, Jethaa Lal (Dilip) complained to Big G about his father constantly scolding him. “Aap bhi Abhishek ji ko daat te hai?” he asked the superstar.
Amitabh, who was still laughing at the duo’s banter, said that he doesn’t do it anymore. When his son Abhishek was young and did something that pissed him off, Big B used to sweetly explain things to him, the actor said.
