Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Nareshi Meena Becomes First Contestant To Attempt Rs 1 Cr Question This Season

Sony Entertainment Television’s famous reality game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, has welcomed an array of contestants with inspiring stories from all walks of life. Reflecting this season’s theme, “Zindagi hai, har mod par sawaal puchegi, jawaab toh dena hoga,” the spotlight shines bright on Nareshi Meena from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. 

 

The 27-year-old has faced life-altering challenges, including a severe illness, with unwavering strength and an infectious smile. Her participation in KBC is a testament to her resilience, as she confidently answers each question, proving that nothing can stand in the way of her dreams. As her KBC journey begins to unfolds on 21st August, Nareshi will make her mark as this season’s first contestant to attempt the ₹1 crore question.
 
A spirited individual, Nareshi Meena drew inspiration from her personal life experiences to uplift the lives of many girls in her community. Despite the daunting challenge of being diagnosed with a brain tumour, she remains steadfast as a supervisor in the Women Empowerment Department, to empower women and girls to seize the opportunities available to them. By sharing her noble work on KBC, Nareshi hopes to amplify the reach of these programs, so that more women benefit from them. Additionally, she hopes to use her potential winnings to fund the treatment for her illness and to reclaim her mother’s cherished jewellery, which holds deep sentimental value. Nareshi’s father, who is a humble farmer, has encouraged her to pursue her education and has always celebrated her victories, beaming with pride as she sits on the hotseat. 

Having correctly answered the Rs 50 Lakh question, watch Nareshi attempting the Rs 1 Crore question on Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16, on 21st and  22nd August, at 9 PM, only on Sony Entertainment Television!
