Director Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Productions will be presenting the actor Rakshit Shetty’s Kannda film 777 Charlie in Tamil. Karthik Subbaraj made this official via a Twitter post.
777 Charlie is an adventure drama-comedy Kannada film. The producers have decided to release the film in five different languages. The film is directed by Kiranraj K, starring actor Rakshit Shetty in the lead role.
The interesting part about the film is that it revolves around a dog named Charlie. It seems Director Karthik Subbaraj had accepted to release the film in Tamil under his banner Stone Bench productions
Karthik Subbaraj announced this with a tweet that read, “ #777Charlie starring @rakshitshetty & dir by @Kiranraj61 is a beautiful film abt Unconditional love between a man & an awesome kid. We @StonebenchFilms are so proud to present this heartwarming film in Tamil.”
Karthik’s Stone Bench Productions has so far produced films like Aviyal, Meyaadha Maan, and Penguin. The web series titled Kallachirippu released under this banner was a massive hit and received a few awards. Now the team is ready to present 777 Charlie.
Earlier, Malayalam actor and director Prithviraj came forward to present 777 Charlie in Malayalam under his banner Prithviraj productions. Reportedly, the actor had watched a few scenes from the movie and expressed his love for the film.
He made this announcement via a Twitter post that read, “I’ve had the privilege of seeing a lot of footage from #777Charlie. I cannot tell you how happy we at @PrithvirajProd are to be associating with something so heartwarming in content & truly mind-blowing in its execution!”
It is also to be noted that Prithviraj came on board KGF Chapter 2 as the distributor in Kerala. Now, he has come up with the idea of presenting 777 Charlie. Since KGF Chapter 1 was a success at the box office, actors and directors from various film industries have started shedding light on the Kannada film industry.
The team of 777 Charlie is expecting to release the film before this year-end or in the early months of next year. The production of the film was completed well before the second wave. However, there are a few days of patchwork left, says the director. Hopefully, this will be completed once the industry resumes shooting.
The trailer of 777 Charlie will release on June 6, on the occasion of Rakshit Shetty’s birthday. The film will have actors Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Bobby Simhaa, and Danish Sait in some prominent roles.
