Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who were last seen in Good Newwz, have starred in several hit films together, including Ajnabee, Gabbar is Back, Aitraaz, Tashan and Kambakkht Ishq. The duo’s on-screen chemistry leaves fans gasping for air but their off-screen camaraderie and bond just leaves them in splits.
From pulling each other’s legs during promotional events to sharing hilarious anecdotes, Bebo and Akki are too funny to miss. So when Kareena sat down for a candid chat with actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, they obviously spoke about the latter’s husband and Bebo’s co-star of many films.
During their conversation on Tweak India, Kareena even joked about Akshay’s career plans and said that he will be working even when she turns old. “Well, if I’m 75, I know one thing, that I’ll still be working with Akshay Kumar for sure because he’ll still be working. I’m telling you, he’s already planning some two-hero film with Taimur. He’s already told me that. So you can imagine,” she joked.
While Kareena was just taking a hilarious jibe at Akshay, she had earlier spoken about how her toddler is a threat to Akshay’s popularity “Taimur is a threat to you, I am telling you. Even in your fan following, he can surpass you. It’s an open challenge,” Kareena had said at an event in 2019.
Meanwhile, Akshay, who starred in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re with Taimur’s half sister Sara Ali Khan, recently joked about working with Tim Tim’s babies. In an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, he said, “Haan, main Taimur ke bacche ke saath bhi kaam karna chahta hu (Yes, I also want to work with Taimur’s kid).”
On the work front, Kareena will be seen sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha. The film, which is the Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, will release next on Baisakhi 2022.
Meanwhile, Akshay on Monday shared that he has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film Ram Setu. The action-adventure drama also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Pankaj Tripathi. He is also awaiting the release of Prithviraj.
