Karachi Kings will lock horns with the Quetta Gladiators in the fourth match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2022 at the National Stadium in Karachi, on Saturday, January 29. Saturday will see the first doubleheader of this PSL season, and this particular match will be played on a used pitch hence it will be expected to provide some turn for the spinners. 

Karachi Kings lost their first game to the defending champions Multan Sultans and will be eagerly looking for a win against the Gladiators. Skipper Babar Azam missed out with the bat in the last game and looked a lot more in his approach during his stay at the crease.

He needs to be a lot fluent at the top to give his middle-order batters more time to settle down. His fellow opener Sharjeel Khan looked good in the last game as he scored at a brisk pace but was eventually undone by Imran Tahir, who was unplayable that evening. All-rounder Mohammad Nabi will be the player to watch out for in this game.

On the other hand, the Gladiators lost their first game against Peshawar Zalmi by five wickets despite posting 190 runs on the board. Both their openers, Ahsan Ali and Will Smeed, looked in menacing touch with the bat and were able to get their team off to a flyer. Mohammad Nawaz was able to pick three wickets in the last game for the Gladiators and could turn out to be a valuable pick for Saturday’s clash.
