Kannadathi actor Kiran Raj condemns violence against Doctors: ‘Assault is not acceptable’

The second wave Covid-19 pandemic has already created a number of disasters throughout the country. On one hand, people who are struggling for a meal without a job, on the other hand, there are doctors and health care professionals who are busy treating the Covid patients by risking their lives.

When we are going through such difficult times, a number of cases of violence against doctors have been reported across the country is making the situation much worse. In the last few days, there have been cases of brutal assaults on doctors in many parts of the country, including Delhi and Assam, which have shocked society.

Now, television actor Kiran Raj has opened up on the issue. Already a number of well-known people from entertainment have come forward to condemn the violence against doctors and urged the government to immediately take strict action against those guilty. 

Taking to his Instagram account the actor wrote, “I know situation is critical, i know you are tensed i know you have the fear of losing your loved one i know you feel helpless BUT Think of a person who wear a PPE- It makes suffocation, Dehydration, sometimes breathing difficulty, sometimes they drinks their own sweat which will be dribbling from face,they can’t go even fr washroom also ,they wear this fr 6hours..They chose this noble profession to serve the society and people. But assault on doctors is not acceptable . Even they have family they are risking their life for society, Its time to understand each other stand for each other, thank you”.

Kiran Raj, although, has acted in few Kannada films, but it is the TV that made him popular. He has played the role of Harsha, a business tycoon in the Kannada serial Kannadathi which made him become a household name.

On his career front, Kiran Raj has done a film-making degree in Mumbai. After which he started acting in Hindi serials such as Dil Ki Aashiyan, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Tu Aashiqui. Later on, the actor came back and started acting in Kannada serials.

He has acted in Kannada serials like Kinnari, Devathe, Chandramukhi. But his role in Kannadathi has made him popular as said by the actor in one of his interviews with the media channel.

Interestingly, this handsome hunk is all set to make his Telugu silver screen debut very shortly. He is one such actor who has busy in receiving offers from both TV and films.
