With many star kids entering the film industry, people are curious if Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s daughter Nysa will also become an actor.
At the News18 Rissing Bharat summit 2025, Kajol answered this question and said, “Bilkul nai (Absolutely not)..no, I think..vo 22 saal ki ho gaye hai..hone wali hai abhi.. I think she has made up her mind that ki nai aane wali hai abhi (She won’t join films).”
Kajol Clears the Air on Nysa’s Bollywood Debut
Kajol also gave some advice for new actors. She said, “Pehle baat main yeh kehna chahungi ki please don’t take advise from everybody. Most importantly ki kyunki agar aap puchenge mujhe kya karna chahiye toh 100 log khare hoke bolenge tumhe yeh karna chahiye, tumhe apna naak badlo, tumhe apna haath badlo, baalon ka colour badlo, yeh karo vo karo.” ( “First of all, I would like to say, please don’t take advice from everyone. If you ask people what to do, 100 people will give you suggestions like change your nose, hands, hair colour, and many other things.”)
Nysa is often seen at Bollywood parties, events, and movie screenings. She also joins her family at public outings.
Kajol’s Upcoming Film
Kajol will next be seen in a mythological horror film called Maa, directed by Vishal Furia. The first look of the film was shared in March 2025. Kajol plays a fierce mother protecting her daughter.
Maa will release in theatres on June 27, 2025.
