Ahead of the trailer release of ‘Jigra’, know why and how ‘Jigra’ has become the most awaited Bollywood movie of 2024.
Alia Bhatt Steps Out Of The Comfort Zone
Alia Bhatt has proved her versatility as an actor several times with her incredible performances. From keeping everyone on the edge of their seat with her hard-hitting acting to making the audience laugh with her endearing roles, the ‘Raazi’ star knows how to impress. She will be seen in an action role for the first time in ‘Jigra’ and will play the role of a sister trying to rescue her brother from jail.
Exploring Siblings’ Relationships
Bollywood has showcased the love and rivalry between siblings many times with movies like ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Deewar’. But ‘Jigra’ will show a fresh take on a sister rescuing her brother.
Vasan Bala’s Craft
Filmmaker Vasan Bala will collaborate with Alia Bhatt for the first time in ‘Jigra’. He is well known for his stylized and unique action sequences, which are reflected in his movie ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota’. He explored the thriller and dark comedy genre with ‘Monica, O My Darling’ which was well received by the audience.
Vedang Raina – A Fresh Face In Bollywood
Vedang Raina made his dream acting debut in the Netflix film ‘The Archies’ but did not get enough chance to showcase his acting prowess. ‘Jigra’ marks a big milestone in his career and he showed his talent in a few-second glimpse in the ‘Jigra’ teaser.
