Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been in the news since her name got associated with the extortion racket involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. While recently her intimate picture Sukesh took the internet by storm, the latest reports suggest that the actress has now stepped out of Nagarjuna’s upcoming movie The Ghost for unknown reasons.

A few months ago, Kajal Aggarwal had walked out of the project as she is expecting her first baby. With Jacqueline’s sudden exit, the makers of the Nagarjuna starrer are now in search of the new female lead of the film.

As per the PinkVilla report, a source close to the film said, “Jacqueline is no longer a part of the film. While we don’t know the exact reason, there have been talks that her exit can be after she landed up in trouble in an extortion case.”

Meanwhile, the makers of The Ghost were planning to start the film with an abroad schedule but have postponed it due to the pandemic crisis of COVID-19. Directed by Praveen Sattaru, the music of the action-thriller is composed by Saurabh while Mukesh G has come on board as the cinematographer. The editing department will be handled by Dharmendra Kakarala.

On the professional front, the actress will be next seen in Attack. The film also stars John Abraham, Prakash Raj, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. The film talks about the hostage crisis and is based on true events. It is produced by John Abraham, Jayantilal Gada and Ajay Kapoor under the banners of JA Entertainment, Pen India Limited and AK Productions. It is set to hit the screens on January 28 but looking at the current scenario, the film is expected to get postponed at the box office. Apart from Attack, the actress has Ram Setu, Bachchan Pandey and Kick 2 under her kitty.

On the other hand, Nagarjuna Akkineni is gearing up for the release of Bangarraju, which is set to hit the screens tomorrow. The film also stars Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty in pivotal roles. Produced by Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios, the film will have music by Anup Rubens
