IPL 2025 Under Threat Amid Rising India-Pakistan Tensions? Report Gives Big Update

The tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated after the Pahalgam terror attack and India’s strong military reaction in the form of Operation Sindoor has increased the tensions. The Operation Sindoor was conducted together by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, which involved precision strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The targets included strategic locations in Bahawalpur, Sialkot, and Muridke allegedly sheltering top leaders of terror outfits such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

In spite of the local strain and the severity of India’s biggest cross-border operation in more than half a century, the BCCI has comforted the public that the current IPL season will remain on schedule, lasting till May 25.

“The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season will go on as scheduled”, a top BCCI official told ANI.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) today, Kolkata Knight Riders will be playing against Chennai Super Kings in their last home game of the year at the historic Eden Gardens, everyone will be watching how the pitch will respond in this critical IPL 2025 match. With KKR looking to finish in the playoff places and CSK hoping to end their run of losses, the pitch can be a significant factor in the result.

In yesterday’s match, Mumbai Indians played against Gujarat Titans at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai and they received a shocking defeat. Batting first Mumbai has set a target of 155/8, but the continuous rain disruptions and last over thriller changed the result for MI despite being in the favour of winning. This defeat also ends Mumbai Indians’ six-match winning streak and pushed them at 4th place in the IPL Points Table.
