IPL 2025: RCB’s Auction Picks Sparks Uproar: Fans Left Divided After Surprising Choices

The much-awaited IPL 2025 mega auction was held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, where an aggregate of 577 players went under the hammer. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made some strategic moves, securing a total of 22 players over the course of the two-day event.

Among the key signings for the franchise were England’s versatile all-rounder, Liam Livingstone, who brings a wealth of power-hitting and handy bowling options to the team. Additionally, RCB bolstered their squad with the addition of Australian stars Josh Hazlewood, a proven pacer with experience in T20 cricket, and Tim David, a hard-hitting middle-order batter, known for his explosive batting skills in high-pressure situations.

But RCB’s choices have left fans divided, while some have called their picks as “poor” and thrashed the management for letting go key players like Mohammed Siraj and Will Jacks. Other fans have lauded it as the “Best” Auction over the years for picking players like Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Liam Livingstone.
