IPL 2025: Rajat Patidar Vs Venkatesh Iyer Stats Comparison

Rajat Patidar

Right-hander Rajat Patidar represents the Bangalore cricket team with his representation in the Indian Premier League after his June 1 1993 birth in Indore. Since his IPL debut in 2021 Patidar has proven himself as a solid batter through 27 appearances where he scored 799 runs with a remarkable average of 34.74.

Patidar has achieved one-century together with seven fifty scores in IPL and reached an undefeated score of 112 runs. Since his IPL start he has maintained his capability to hit boundaries and overbounders as he scored 51 fours and 54 sixes. The Bangalore franchise made an investment of Rs 11.00 crore to acquire Patidar’s services at IPL Auction 2025. Patidar appeared in the IPL at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad for Rajasthan during May 2024 to hit a fast-paced 34 runs off 22 balls.

Venkatesh Iyer

All-rounder Venkatesh Iyer represents the Kolkata franchise in the Indian Premier League as their top player coming from Indore, Madhya Pradesh where he turned 31 years old. As a December 25, 1994 birthright left-handed player he contributes to the team through batting and medium-pace bowling duties.

Iyer entered the IPL in 2021 and has played 50 games which resulted in 1,326 runs with a remarkable 31.57 average. His batting skills demonstrate themselves through a century and eleven fifty scores while his best open batting performance reached 104 runs. During all his matches in the IPL he has demonstrated his power hitting abilities through both fours and sixes totaling 121 and 61 respectively.

The Kolkata franchise showed immense confidence in Iyer’s talents by purchasing his IPL rights for Rs 23.75 crore at IPL Auction 2025. His IPL 2024 match against Hyderabad at Chennai M.A. Chidambaram Stadium became legendary due to his 52-run performance from only 26 deliveries.
