IPL 2025 Mega Auction: Full List Of Marquee And Retained Players Ahead Of Indian Premier League Player Bidding Event

The Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction is all set to kickstart in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from November 24. A total of 1577 players registered for the mega auction out of which the players pool was shortened to 577. This includes 367 Indian players and 110 overseas players. The ten franchises in total have around 204 slots to fill out of which 70 are of overseas players. The IPL 2025 mega auction is all set to start from 03:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) wherein the first session will be held until 05:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) and in between there will be 45 minute lunch break. After the break, the day 1 of the IPL 2025 mega auction will conclude around 10:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). Here is a look at the list of marquee players included in the auction. The marquee players have been included under two categories which includes marquee 1 and marquee 2. The base price of these players are INR 2 crore other than South Africa’s David Miller who has a base price of INR 1.50 crore.

List Of Retained Players By Each Team Ahead Of IPL 2025 Mega Auction

  1. Chennai Super Kings: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni
  2. Delhi Capitals: Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Tristan Stubbs, Abhishek Porel
  3. Gujarat Titans: Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan
  4. Kolkata Knight Riders: Rinku Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Harshit Rana, Ramandeep Singh
  5. Lucknow Super Giants: Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, Ayush Badoni
  6. Mumbai Indians: Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Tilak Varma
  7. Punjab Kings: Shashank Singh, Prabhsimran Singh
  8. Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Sandeep Sharma
  9. Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Yash Dayal
  10. Sunrisers Hyderabad: Pat Cummins, Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Travis Head

The Indian Premier League mega auction is surely among the biggest events in the cricket fraternity at the current time. Cricketers who are all set to go under the hammer will surely have their eyes on the auction table and like to know at what price they will be picked by any team in the auction.
