IPL 2025: Jasprit Bumrah And Rohit Sharma IN – Probable Playing XI For MI Against RCB

Mumbai Indians (MI) will host Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in a must-win game at the Wankhede Stadium. MI’s IPL 2025 campaign has been disappointing so far. They lost their first two matches to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT), before they could register their first win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

But their hopes were belied by a third loss to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their last outing. MI is in dire need of winning some games to turn their campaign around.

The squad has been boosted by the comeback of Jasprit Bumrah just ahead of the crucial encounter. Rohit Sharma too can be penciled back into the playing XI if he’s fit following his injury layoff for the game against LSG.

MI Probable Playing XI vs RCB

Rohit Sharma will open the innings with Ryan Rickleton, while Will Jacks will be the impact player. Suryakumar Yadav will bat at number four, while Tilak Varma, Naman Dhir, and Hardik Pandya will complete the middle order. Deepak Chahar, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, Vignesh Purthur, and Mitchell Santner will make up the bowling attack.

Bumrah’s return will certainly strengthen MI’s bowling, but their biggest concern so far has been their batting. Key players like Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickleton, Tilak Varma, and Hardik Pandya have failed to deliver with the bat. For MI to succeed, their top-order batters must step up and provide a solid performance.

Predicted MI Playing XI

Rohit Sharma
Ryan Rickleton
Suryakumar Yadav
Tilak Varma
Naman Dhir
Hardik Pandya
Deepak Chahar
Jasprit Bumrah
