The scene is all set for a historic battle as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on Tuesday, June 3. Two months of action-packed cricket come to an end with the tournament culminating into this with fans waiting with bated breath to know which team will lift their maiden-ever IPL trophy.

RCB have come to the final three times in 2009, 2011, and 2016 but have never been able to take the trophy. PBKS, who came last in the final in 2014 when they were still called Kings XI Punjab, are also looking for their first title.

RCB finished as the league stage second-placed side, with 19 points from 14 matches. They secured themselves a final spot with a clinical show in Qualifier 1, where they thrashed PBKS by eight wickets, dominating in form at a critical point in the tournament.
