Of all the reality shows currently airing on Indian television, Indian Idol has to be everyone’s favourite. Currently, in its 12th season, the show has been making headlines constantly for the past few months. Today, August 15, fans will get to witness an unusual finale of Indian Idol 12. If you are wondering what’s so unusual about this finale, then we must tell you that it will go on for 12 hours and in the end, one of the finalists will get to take home the winner’s trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. 

Recently, in an interaction with us, finalist Sayli Kamble shared what she’ll do with the prize money if she wins Indian Idol 12. The diva shared that she wishes to buy a special gift for her parents. 

Sayli said, “Mai mere mom dad ko lek ke acche se ghar mai shift ho jaungi jaha hum log reh paye, you know, because mere mom dad bahut deserve karte hai acchi jagah pe rehena, accha lifestyle jeena because unhone pure life mai bohot mehenat ki hai. Mere papa aur mumma ne hamesha kaam kiya aur hamesha mere acche ke liye hi kaam kiya hai toh mai chahahti hu ki hum teeno bhi accha life jeeye aur jo hum deserve karte hai, jo mere mom dad deserve karte hai who unko mile. Bus mere papa ko ghumne ka bohot zyada shauk hai unko ghumane bhi leke jaungi dono ko family ko bas.”

(Loose translation: I wish to shift into a good house with my mom and dad where we can live because my parents deserve to live at a good place and enjoy a good lifestyle because they have worked hard throughout their lives. My mom and dad have always worked, they have worked for my betterment, so I want that the three of us to live a good life, which we deserve. My dad also loves to travel, so I will also take them somewhere)

Apart from Sayli, Mohd Danish, Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Shanmukhapriya and Nihal Tauro are the top six finalist of Indian Idol 12. For the past few weeks, the show was being judged by Anu Malik, Sonu Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya.
