India has strongly refuted the allegations levelled by Pakistan. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday rejected the suggestions made by Pakistan foreign office and called them “baseless allegation.” MEA called out Pakistan for its Statement and advised it to look inward instead of shifting blame for its internal failures. Pakistan foreign office on Thursday had claimed that India had a hand in the Jaffar Express attack.

MEA Hits Back At Pakistan

Addressing the claims made by Pakistan, MEA official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We strongly reject the baseless allegations made by Pakistan. The whole world knows where the epicenter of global terrorism lies. Pakistan should look inwards instead of pointing fingers and shifting the blame for its own internal problems and failures on to others.”

Jaiswal in his statement reiterated that the whole knows where the epicenter of global terrorism lies.

What Did Pakistan Foreign Office Say?

During a weekly press briefing, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated, “India has been involved in terrorism in Pakistan. In the particular attack on Jaffar express, the terrorists had been in contact with their handlers and ring leaders in Afghanistan.”

Pakistan has been continuously accusing Afghanistan of frequent border skirmishes. The relationship between both the countries have strained with Islamabad claiming that the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was using Afghan soil to launch attacks in Pakistan. However, Kabul had denied the allegations.

Jaffar Express, which was carrying more than 400 passengers was attacked by a group of terrorists in Bolan Pass on Tuesday. The rescue operation ended on Thursday. Pakistan security forces claimed that they have eliminated all 33 Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) rebels who had hijacked the Jaffar Express.
