The 2nd T20I between India and England became an exciting contest, India’s batting had completely collapsed with the top order getting dismissed early. Tilak Varma emerged to be the hero of the match with his knock of 72 runs that shocked England and led India towards a win.

IND Vs ENG: Who Was The Game-Changer For India?

But there was one real-game changer that came at number 10 to bat and hit two valuable boundaries that completely changed the dynamics of game. It was none other than India’s top spinner Ravi Bishnoi, he scored just 9 runs but it came at a point where India was struggling to win.

Tilak Varma: The Hero For India In 2nd T20I

England’s bowlers, led by Brydon Carse (3/28) and Adil Rashid (1/14), were a tight unit; scoring opportunities never came easily for the batters. However, Tilak handled caution and aggression with a fair balance. Joined by Washington Sundar (26), the two steadied the innings until they had to depend on value contributions from lower order to near the target closely. With appropriate strike rotation, and confidence from the tail, Tilak Varma (72) finally guided India into a nail-biting finish, which they came out victorious. Earlier, England posted a competitive 165, with Jos Buttler top-scoring with 45 and Brydon Carse contributing a quick 31 in the latter stages. Despite their efforts, Tilak’s brilliance overshadowed the visitors, ensuring India secured a series win with an unassailable 2-0 lead.
