Mehidy Hasan Miraz grabbed the first wicket of the day by getting KL Rahul back for 16 runs. Rahul tried a lofted shot, and Zakir Hasan was quick to react, diving to his right to come up with a fine low catch. That would make it the sixth India wicket lost, and things get seriously placed in trouble for them.

IND Vs BAN, 1st Test

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have added a solid partnership as India’s score was at 176/6 at Tea on the first day of the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai. Both are cautiously creeping along to advance India’s innings. The team has lost six wickets, where one of the notable ones is Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has scored 56 runs. Fans have reacted to KL Rahul’s dismissal and trolled him brutally. One of the fan tweeted that the wicket-keeper batter should either retire or be sacked by BCCI.

His recent dismissal has took the social media by a storm.

KL Rahul’s Test Record

Rahul has so far played 50 Test matches in his career and scored 2,863 runs with an average of 34. He has produced 345 fours and 24 sixes in Tests. His last Test match was against England played on the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad in January 2024. Here he made 86 runs off 123 balls.
