Cricket isn’t just a sport in India; it’s an emotion. And like millions of fans, even Bollywood’s biggest superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, finds himself caught up in the thrill and tension of the game. Recently, during the high-stakes India vs Australia match, Big B took to social media to share a hilarious yet relatable account of his superstitions while watching the game.

Amitabh Bachchan revealed how, before tuning in, he battled the thought of whether he should watch the game at all. He expressed concern that every time he watched, India seemed to struggle. But despite his fears, he decided to break his own superstition and watch the match unfold.

The Lucky Position?

Amitabh Bachchan’s superstition didn’t stop at merely deciding whether to watch the match it extended to his sitting posture as well. As he described, every detail of his position felt like it could influence the game’s outcome. Should one leg be crossed over the other and if so, which one? Should he sit with legs bent or stretched out and Should he keep his shoes on or off? With every wicket that fell, he found himself debating whether he should revert to his original position, fearing that any movement could disrupt India’s chances. His playful yet intense internal struggle was something that resonated with countless cricket fans, who have their own quirky match-day rituals.
