India and Australia are all set to play against each other in the third Test of the five-match series at ‘The Gabba’ in Brisbane. The five-match series is currently levelled at 1-1 and both teams will looking forward to take a lead. The Rohit Sharma led side was outplayed by the hosts in Adelaide and now they will be very eager on making a strong return in the series. There can be a lot of potential changes in Indian team, whereas Pat Cummins and Co have already named their playing XI. Australia have roped in Josh Hazlewood back into the side who missed the second Test due to a side strain injury in place of Scott Boland. Boland bowled a decent spell during the second Test but Hazlewood being the senior bowler received a place back into the side.

The IND vs AUS 2024-25 Test series has been a one-sided affair as of now. Team India registered a one-sided 295-run victory in the first Test match played in Perth whereas the Aussies ended up registering a ten-wicket win in the pink-ball Test played at the Adelaide Oval. Now when the series is levelled at 1-1, both teams will be in the hunt of taking a lead in the series.

Despite the fact that the Test series is levelled at the moment, Australia will certainly have the momentum and the psychological advantage. Aussies are among the top performing and deadly sides whenever they play at home and Brisbane has been a place where they aren’t used to of losing a match. Travis Head who smashed a century during the Adelaide Test will be a big head ache for the Indian followed by the pace attack whose inexperience was witnessed in the previous match.
